I got this when it came out its been like 4 years, for 250 there are alot better options, the filters are not very good and dont last you might get 3 months at most and i have tried em all. Eventually i bought an iq air pro or something THAT things works and the filters last and i run it 24/7 day and night 365. Id say if you wanna burn 250$ for an eh filter for mostly dust or larger particles or kitches use the levoit is decent, forget about the app since to use it you have to waive your rights to sue and can only go to arbitration court. Overall id pass just my 2 cents

Yes, assuming all filter media are the same size and surface area.

Large media with high surface would be best. Smaller media with similar surface area would clog faster.
