Resurrections is such a middle finger to the studio for forcing them to make it

This is the one thing that bums me out about this set.

Resurrections is an incredibly interesting movie that will age well. This movie will get the praise it deserves in 15-20 years.

Nope, not even close.

It will gain back its popularity over time. It just takes a rewatch.
Yeah no, it was god awful, worse than even most fan fictions. To me this movie doesn't exist, was just a horrible nightmare and this is coming from one of the biggest Matrix fans.

+1... there was admittedly a sprinkling of a good plot of what life is likeafter Neo's actions (the machines having a civil war with each other for energy, some machines working with humans peacefully to bring back earth, how humans come to earth while still on the matrix, etc)

But everything was forced and cringe. Don't know why they were compelled to focus so much on lesbians and the power of love.

I'd pay $50 for the first three movies.

You mean the one with that fleabag chick who told him she was a strong, independent & capable woman?
The same one with that chase scene in golf carts where they were going 5 mph? That one?

That women liked herself so much she didn't need me to like her too. And the story of how she met that kid with the unibrow & the junior high mustache was an uninspired retread of how Indy met Short Round. I winced during that kid's first close up. For a movie that cost $350 million someone could have sprung for a Bic razor & some tweezers.
