Good suggestion, Unfortunately years too late. Metal gear models are impossible to find anywhere now, and the companies that rebuild them charge more than you can buy this model - except new models come with good warranty, especially Costco. I have been looking for a year on reddit, Craigslist, ebay, Facebook marketplace in the whole North America - no luck.

One of the best deals I've ever had was a $99 refurbished KitchenAid stand mixer like this -- some 20 years ago or so. Still going strong now.
