I will say though that I was trying to clamp it to one end of my 2k curved monitor or the side of a regular 1080p in portrait (bottom when rotated) and it was what made it slip no matter how much I tightened it. I ultimately have it clamped to the middle of my curved monitor where the plastic of the input box is flat reletively to the front.
Edit.. As for performance, it does what it says. Needs independent power though ( from wall adapter, not pc)

I like that power injection can be done with USB-C on these. My older powered hubs require a slim barrel connector and I'm two cases wound up pulling off the circuit board from a tiny connection and a long connector providing significant leverage.
