I think many of these deals are like this simply because the S&S Coupon isn't exclusive to this product. It can be applied to many different products ("shop items"). So the coupon may have been used by many of us from another deal posted. Not suggesting that's the case for you but I've noticed for me it's that I've used the coupon either on another product or used it on the same product in the past and it's not eligible for me this time.

I mean you could add the AC and YMMV but it seems like that would be needed for nearly every deal because of the examples that I mentioned.
It might be helpful to specify that the coupon isn't exclusive to "X" product. I say that because I think a lot of people will burn the coupon on a specifically posted deal not knowing there was a better option for them for that coupon.
As in you see a deal where you save 30% off of Amazon pop tarts. You buy it for $1.10 saving you .30. But you didn't realize that the 30% coupon could be used on a case of Amazon cookies that would have saved you $3.00.

Haven't seen a coupon from a single Slickdeals Amazon post in the past month actually appear for me on Amazon. Every single time I'm not eligible or whatever.

I still see the coupon, the coupon is HERE [amazon.com]. If you've used the coupon already, you won't see it now (one time use). The coupon is for Triscuit, Ritz, Wheat Thins, Nabisco.
