I left the Balance From 15s in the sun and they did swell a little but still seem to work ok. 15lb is the minimum to support a 45lb barbell on the ground- the 10lbs will bend in half and flop like a fish.
Does anyone have these? How bad is the rubber smell? I had to return the essential ones to Walmart because it was so bad .
Mine I purchased in January are still out on the balcony. They still had a slight lingering smell in March, but barely noticable now in April. Multi-colored, black, doeson't matter, odor does not discriminate. I just wouldn't store it inside the house upon initial purpose especially if there's a pregnant woman or children in the home.

I have a set. The rubber odor is really strong but eventually went away. I keep them in the garage. I probably would go with something else if I were using them in the house. I've been really happy with them.
If you have one brand of bumpers do you ever mix and match for another brand? Or you anal that it all has to match and be same brand?
I only have 2 20 lb bumbers, that's it, then I'll just load my metal plates onto it. The bumpers sit higher than the metal plates and protect the floor. But....if I didn't have any plates I would just have 1 pair of bumpers to protect the floor then buy whatever is cheaper metal or bumper for additional weight...whatever brand if plate size is normal. Weights are weights dude at the end of the day if you are lifting to get in shape who cares what brand/color/style they are. There are monsters out there using broomsticks and cinder blocks.

I wouldn't.. You'll end up with one brand that's slightly bigger/smaller in diameter. Then you'll have one brand hitting the floor while the others aren't. Then you'll have to always have one brand of plate in a specific order on the bar because of it.

Yup I just ordered all colors same brand. I should have got all colors to begin with. They look nice so now I got the black with color writing and color ones lol

I don't doubt what your saying but fitrx/flexwave/balancefrom/signature fitness are all either the same brand or seem to rebadged plates from the same source. So they will likely be the same diameter. I can't swear to it but I've ordered from all 4 before and they were identical diameter-wise. For example if you look at the flexwave listing, the image shows signature fitness on the plates.

That's good to hear. A bit confusing but as long as they're the same diameter then I suppose go for it.

I don't but that's only because I bought the signature fitness plates back when they were like 16 cents a lb. I got 800 lbs of weights ROFL. To be clear I am not lifting 800LBS I just leave a set on/near each piece of equipment so i don't have to lug them around so much. Kinda funny when you think about it because you buy weights just to move heavy weight around on on purpose then get lazy between machines

If I tried to deadlift 800lb's I would prolapse my intestines out my butthole. I just bought so many so I can leave some weight on the leg press and some more on the deadlift bar and more over on the curl rack!
