This is a great phone - It is my main one that I use with Visible. I bought mine unlocked from Motorola - the difference being that the storage is 256GB and not 128GB. However, Ebay's Verizon Value store has their two pack of Moto G Power 2024s for 10 bucks more that this deal and they are great phones. I recently took advantage it. You get two phones and two years of service for $90. The Moto G Power 24 is heavier than the Stylus 24, but I kind of like that. Anyway Verizon Value store has many great buys.

The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2024), model number XT2419V (often associated with carriers like Verizon/Straight Talk), is a 2024 release. Based on standard Motorola support cycles for this device series, it is expected to receive security updates until 2027.

Yeah you just sign in>activate>One you've purchased through Tracfone>Keep Number on website and current tracfone number will extend it 1 year+add 1500 to balance

This Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 bundle stands out as a full phone plus a year of Tracfone service, with the stylus model praised for its complete feature set, OLED display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, SD card slot, headphone jack, Qi charging, and solid performance. The annual plan is especially appealing for heavy Wi Fi users, backup phones, or keeping a second number active, and the included service alone is said to cost more than the deal price. The main catches are the one year unlock wait, Tracfone account transfer hassles, and limited minutes, texts, and data. It fits best as a low cost secondary line with useful hardware.

  • The XT2419V model is expected to receive security updates through May 2027.

  • The device includes an SD card slot and supports aptX Adaptive for compatible headphones.

    Maceartdb999md

  • The annual Tracfone plan can be extended by selecting "Keep Number" during activation.

    Jaggsta

  • The phone can work on Visible when it is locked and uses a physical SIM card.

  • Unlocking reportedly requires a year of active service, which delays use outside the carrier.

    arny56titoxtian

  • The phone may be limited to Android 15 with no OS upgrade, even if security updates continue.

    itsme13BigBigDoggy

  • Tracfone number and plan transfers can be disruptive, including losing a phone number during transfer.

    lethol0gica

  • Activation may require a compatible physical SIM and IMEI, and it can fail IMEI checks.

One more thing to note is that with the Metro version you can unlock the bootloader, and you can't do that with Tracfone/Verizon versions. That is to say if you're interested in bootloader unlocking in case you want to install a GSI rom or wait to see if LineageOS potentially supports it.
This is verified? I know Verizon/Tracfone impossible to unlock bootloader. But Metro for sure bootloader unlockable?

Metro/Tmobile versions of Motorola phones generally have unlockable bootloaders unless something has changed just recently. I've had every G Stylus from 2022-2025 from Metro and they all have unlockable bootloaders.

You know off the bat if GrapheneOS (probably not) or LineageOS available for this? You run any custom OS or root?

There's also a $99 bundle that includes a Fitbit Health Tracker. Don't know if it's worth the extra $20 or not.

Verizon Value store now shows a couple phone listings, a G Power 2026 and Samsung A17. But not deal-priced.
