This is a great phone - It is my main one that I use with Visible. I bought mine unlocked from Motorola - the difference being that the storage is 256GB and not 128GB. However, Ebay's Verizon Value store has their two pack of Moto G Power 2024s for 10 bucks more that this deal and they are great phones. I recently took advantage it. You get two phones and two years of service for $90. The Moto G Power 24 is heavier than the Stylus 24, but I kind of like that. Anyway Verizon Value store has many great buys.

Is this really $80 for a mobile phone PLUS 12 months of cellular service?
Granted it is a low end phone and not many minutes/texts/data for a total of 12 months, but is it really just this much? If so, a good deal for a backup phone.

Good deal for anyone who needs a decent phone and needs to carry over their existing minutes/text/data already contained within Tracfone. If you're sitting on wifi most of the time and don't mind using TextNow app, Facebook messenger or Google Voice to make calls over wifi you can really stretch these plans out for a year.

Yes it's really a flat one time purchase price for the phone and 1 year of service. Like you said not very many minutes/texts/data so best suited for those who spend a lot of time on wifi. It's great for a backup phone to keep in the car or whatever in case of emergency. Also good for a second phone and second phone number and second google account in order to double dip on certain in-app-only deals at fast food places and grocery stores Wink

Be aware that if you need a Google Voice number, you are very likely to find that the Tracfone number you get has already been claimed for GV by some previous number holder. This is really annoying and GV needs to fix it somehow

The problem with the Motorola phones is that they stop getting security updates after 2 years. So this one stopped getting updates LAST YEAR.
