This is a great phone - It is my main one that I use with Visible. I bought mine unlocked from Motorola - the difference being that the storage is 256GB and not 128GB. However, Ebay's Verizon Value store has their two pack of Moto G Power 2024s for 10 bucks more that this deal and they are great phones. I recently took advantage it. You get two phones and two years of service for $90. The Moto G Power 24 is heavier than the Stylus 24, but I kind of like that. Anyway Verizon Value store has many great buys.

The Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2024), model number XT2419V (often associated with carriers like Verizon/Straight Talk), is a 2024 release. Based on standard Motorola support cycles for this device series, it is expected to receive security updates until 2027.

This Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 bundle stands out as a full phone plus a year of Tracfone service, with the stylus model praised for its complete feature set, OLED display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, SD card slot, headphone jack, Qi charging, and solid performance. The annual plan is especially appealing for heavy Wi Fi users, backup phones, or keeping a second number active, and the included service alone is said to cost more than the deal price. The main catches are the one year unlock wait, Tracfone account transfer hassles, and limited minutes, texts, and data. It fits best as a low cost secondary line with useful hardware.

Are the 1500/1500/1500 limits monthly, or literally that's the allowance for the whole year?
annually, not monthly, but you can save $15/month off your FIOS bill by using this plan.

Why they no longer offer unlimited talk text plan like the one from last year. Any thoughts?
The 1500/1500/1500 is the more common offering.

You have a choice when you activate the sim: new number, keep existing TF number, or port in.

Is this really $80 for a mobile phone PLUS 12 months of cellular service?
Granted it is a low end phone and not many minutes/texts/data for a total of 12 months, but is it really just this much? If so, a good deal for a backup phone.

Good deal for anyone who needs a decent phone and needs to carry over their existing minutes/text/data already contained within Tracfone. If you're sitting on wifi most of the time and don't mind using TextNow app, Facebook messenger or Google Voice to make calls over wifi you can really stretch these plans out for a year.

Yes it's really a flat one time purchase price for the phone and 1 year of service. Like you said not very many minutes/texts/data so best suited for those who spend a lot of time on wifi. It's great for a backup phone to keep in the car or whatever in case of emergency. Also good for a second phone and second phone number and second google account in order to double dip on certain in-app-only deals at fast food places and grocery stores Wink

So it's still possible to renew / extend a currently owned 1500/1500/1500 annual Tracfone plan using one of these, right?

These work on Visible Locked with physical sim card so cheap phone if you have visible service.
Wait, Tracfones that are supposedly carrier-locked for a year now will work on Visible before that? Say more please!

Be aware that if you need a Google Voice number, you are very likely to find that the Tracfone number you get has already been claimed for GV by some previous number holder. This is really annoying and GV needs to fix it somehow

This isn't a "low end phone"... It's one of the only few ones out there still receiving updates that have a complete features set.

8 core CPU
8GB RAM
128GB ROM
OIS on main camera
SD Card slot
Headphone jack
QI charging
Support for all major carriers in the US (once unlocked).

No flagship today has all these features...

The problem with the Motorola phones is that they stop getting security updates after 2 years. So this one stopped getting updates LAST YEAR.
