I'm a no-brand type of guy... I see quite a few people have these brand shoes. Are they actually good/comfy or just swag?

Narrow shoes basically are bad for all toes.

On is a legit and established brand. They're good running shoes in terms of performance, though you're also going to see plenty of people use them for walking or jobs which require lots of standing. This is the same as basically every brand of running shoes - Hoka, Brooks, Asics, etc.

50/50 they are comfy but don't last. They are also a trending status symbol now so of course they have less incentive to make decent shoes and will start going downhill most likely

I found them to be comfortable and good for walking, running errands, etc. They surprisingly broke down a lot quicker than I would've expected. Overall I still prefer Nike for running shoes. I usually get the Zoom Structure, and those will last for 2+ years even with regular use.

These are the "Nike" of Europe" everyone has them, but also great running shoes , lightweight and springy, probably best suited for 5ks runs

That makes sense. Running shoes don't need to last.
