Yes you get the "extra batteries and power" but that doesn't really seem slick to buy them separately at that price unless you need the extra "power, speed, or batteries".
I bought the last 24 volt kobalt deal for the string trimmer+ battery and charger on clearance for $100(not incredibly slick, I just needed one though and its been great). I'm not sure its worth the hassle of selling and recouping the money for me. Although I do think this combo is a great deal compared to what you posted, as it comes with both a blower and trimmer and they are also updated and lighter than the line I bought.
This combo deal might be not as strong, but you are suggesting a 160% increase in price... I'm not sure you would get, let alone need 160% performance in sacrifice of the money invested.
People do appreciate the input on both sides, so reguardless, its just my 2 cents on the suggestion.
