There's been a bunch of these on Amazon under different brands with slight differences in handles and accessories.
I don't know what the coating is but it behaves more like ceramic nonstick than anything. It was super nonstick out of the box and then everything would stick after two weeks of regular use. You can't reseason it either.
If you want an inexpensive wok just get the Amazon Basics one. It's well made, nitrided, and doesn't have the crappy aluminum rivet design of the Joyce Chen and even cheaper woks. If you want to pay more, jump up to the Yosukata, The Wok Shop, or Yamada Uchidashi, for marginal improvements.

I found the quality of the wood handle and hardware on the Amazon better and some reviews had the wood handle split on the Chinese woks with the same handle as the Babish, but honestly both are probably fine and held up well when I used it. The handle design of those woks and on this Babish is very good and wasn't an issue, but a bit heavier than the Amazon. Take your pick.
