UA does it's discounts including "extra" in a tricky way. When there is 50% off with a code, it is 50% off original price, not on discounted new sale price. In other words, it is not "extra" discount on already reduced prices but on original prices. And then, they let you apply 15 or 20% off "extra" on the discounted price after 50% off you applied. Thus, the present sale is (upto) 40% off and they are letting you get another 20% off on the 40% discounted price. Thus, the end math may be the same for most products.

I spent over $500 when they did extra50 + extra10. Just do extra 20%? That's no meaning to me.

No, they dont. Its 50 off discounted. Ive shopped it many times.
