I bought this a week ago around the same price.

I played it originally on PC and thought it was a really good game. Switch version runs well and there is cross platform saving if you have it on another platform. Fun game to have portable.

I was on board until I saw it's a game key card. No sale on gkc's for me. Only actual game on cards for me. Nintendo is making huge mistake with these by not just allowing 96GB or 128GB flash carts.

I love my physical games too and I get the sentiment but the economics of it just don't make sense. A 64GB cartridge reportedly has a manufacturing cost somewhere in the range of $15-20, so something even larger even if they made it would be even more. Never mind all the other costs associated with putting a physical game on a retail shelf. Even if you were personally willing to pay a hefty premium for a full physical version of this game it's likely that most people wouldn't, especially with the discount culture that has been fostered with Ubisoft. Then there's also the assertion by developers that even if this was entirely on a cart the data transfer speeds are supposedly inadequate due to the nature of the game and the game performance would suffer as a result -- but that's another discussion entirely. Anyway the bottom line is that unless Nintendo can somehow get costs down for cartridges (good luck with the memory module crunch right now) then Game Key Cards are still going to be a thing unfortunately. I wish that wasn't the case but such is the reality.

I agree with you, but publishers don't give us the full game on a cartridge, even when the game is less than 64 GB. Proof of this is the new Re9, which is less than 30 GB on the Switch.

Part of the problem is that Nintendo allegedly has only offered a 64GB cartridge (at a significant cost) and no other less costly or smaller capacity options. That is until most recently where supposedly there are one or more smaller options finally available now. Even so, to your point, publishers may still choose to skimp out, go the game key card route to cut costs and in their mind maximize profits.

Price match with Best Buy and, if you got one, use either the $5 or $10 coupon from earlier this week.

I bought this a few weeks after release. I played 15-20 hours, but haven't had an opportunity to get back to it. It's a pretty great game, but a little slow pace and sneaky at times for me to devote more time to it above other games. Still, this is a great price and definitely worth it.

I also don't care for the game key card, but it DOES allow for resale, unlike the games that are only download codes. I bought mine preowned.
