Bosch's 1.25 inch and 1.2 inch combo router kit is drawing praise as a top performer and a strong value at $149, especially for table mounting, plunge work, and starter setups. The fixed and plunge bases make it versatile enough to move between a router table, sled, and handheld use, and the included plastic case is a welcome bonus. The main friction is getting the deal or a price adjustment, since some had to chase chat support or drive to a distant Lowe's, and delivery arrived unboxed and incomplete in one case. A solid all around router kit if you need the fixed base and can get it cleanly.

Common Questions (3)

Sometimes a price adjustment can be requested through Lowe's chat, and one purchase at $170 was refunded $20. But Lowe's customer service also reportedly refused adjustments for timed or flash-sale items, so approval is not guaranteed.

Yes. It is specifically recommended for bolting to a router table, and the fixed-base capability fills that use case well if you want a new router instead of buying used.
Taco_Doomsday
Yes, it includes a nice plastic case. That makes storage and transport easier, especially for a combo kit with both fixed and plunge bases.

Thanks! Grabbed one last weekend at the $169 price - I guess it's the old rebuy/return.

Also forgot about the Discover 5% cashback the first time, so this gives me a 2nd crack at it...plus 4% CB from Cap1.

Been waiting on these to go on sale again and I had a 20% coupon from Lowe's credit that stacked on top.

I dunno if I really want to waste $10 in gas and an hour and a half of my time driving out to Lowe's so I can return last week's router and rebuy to save $20. I'll try to chat up CS for a price adjustment.

Great deal. I'd been waiting for the SKIL 1/4-in and 1/2-in 14 -Amp 2.5 -HP Variable Speed Combo Fixed/Plunge Router to go back to this price but preferred the Bosch, never dreaming it would go to $149 plus the Discover 5%.

Outstanding deal for this, I said this when it went on sale last but if you need to bolt a router to a table and don't want to go used, this is the one to get

I bought this when it was recently on sale for $170.
Sent a chat to the Lowes AI chat, asked for an agent, and they refunded me $20.

Wow. Saw this on here, bought it on the website and it was delivered a couple hours later. I was surprised it comes with a nice plastic case.
