For my peace of mind, I just rent the U-Haul motorcycle trailer whenever I need to take my motorcycle somewhere. Yet it would be nice to not have to travel somewhere and go through a check-in/check-out process just to take my motorcycle to different places.
The one I use looks similar BUT the ramp storage is on the outside and not between the bike/car so the bike is closer to the car (less lever action). I use it for light weight dirt bikes 450/350 which are under 250lb. The only reason I would want the carrier on the inside is if I wanted more room between the bike and car but I don't. Buy quality straps and make sure the straps can't unhook from the carrier. I'd use the ones that come with it as a second backup strap.
edit: someone loaded a Royal Enfield Himalayan onto this and noted the ramp was too short.

Hitch "receiver" has SAE test for weight and usually manufacturers report the max weight allowed.
Safest value is 10% of towing capacity. It is mostly higher but good rule of thumb.
