The cord is not that long, so while it works well for desk / seat level charging, the retractable cables are too short for wall / floor level charging. That being said, the retractable cables are fantastic for living in a temporary spot. Despite having a great Anker 45W PD compact charger with Y/splitter cable ready to go, I find myself using this device more often due to the convenience factor.
As described on the Amazon page, the power output will vary depending on the number of devices you connect, and these types of chargers are usually configured to deliver most of the power to one device.
1 device: 1 retractable port in use = 45W
2 devices: 2 retractable ports in use = 30W + 15W
3 devices: 2 retractable ports + USB-C port = 30W + 7.5W + 7.5W
4 devices: 2 retractable ports + USB-C port + USB-A port = 30W + 5W + 5W + 5W
While the 4-device setup looks grim with only 5W on most ports, in practice, you're not connecting four devices with a 0% SoC, so after one device finishes charging, the lower power ports will quickly pop up to 7.5W and 12-15W.
Also note that while 45W PD can shrink your 0~80% iPhone charge time to ~45 minutes, a 15W charger can still do that in ~90 minutes, so 45W is not going to be 3X faster than 15W due to charging limitations.
