Apparently the brightness setting has to be 70% or below to eliminate the humming it's a known issue

I have been waiting for it to drop down to this price range. Unfortunately, I already pulled the trigger on the LG G5 83 inch for about 1.5X this price. I am happy with it, but this also has great picture quality that I would've also probably been happy with plus another thousand dollars still in my pocket.

Technical specs and their lack of reflection in real life is so weird to me... Most people seem to say that they can't tell the difference in real life when comparing the QM8K vs QM9K and similarly for QM8K vs QM7K despite the stark differences in technical specs. So strange. I am not even sure what to make of it

Between the humming from the TCL and the cracking from the LG G5's, I'm torn about spending so much money on TV's and having to deal with these types of issues. Sigh
