I bought it today for 3500 + extended protection + tax + upgrade it to 128 gb ram. I was looking for a 16 inch laptop which can be carry easily while traveling with 5090, ultra 9 s2 plus and supports 128 GB ram. It's a nice machine. Thanks.

Microcenter updated the pricing. It's now 3500, not 3000.

What brand/spec RAM did you get and how much did it cost you to upgrade it to 128 GB?

The 5090m is equivalent to about a 5070ti desktop. Still impressive to achieve this at half the power draw

The upgrade cost me $1350 to RAM- Crucial 128GB Kit (2X64GB) DDR5 RAM 5600MHz from amazon. Added additional WD - BLACK SN850X 4TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe $638 from best buy.

The RAM inside was 32 GB from same brand.

Its my mini portable server now which i can carry with me and very useful for AI related development/ deployments.

additional:

G550 wireless mouse and its protection case while traveling.
Added the additional protections for laptop beside its original warranty.
