They really are!. So are LiFePo4 batteries, inverters, etc, and even all in one solar power stations/generators. Seems like stuffs getting cheaper by the day. I don't know how much cheaper things can possibly get. It's a good time to be into this kinda stuff.

China was supplying tax breaks, cheap land, low-interest loans to solar manufactures. They see the technology (solar, wind, etc) as a national asset. (unlike some countries....chough) This led to over capacity. There has also been falling inputs costs, because upstream polysilicon has seen lowering production costs.

Competition and undercutting forces companies to pass these savings on to international buyers. Plus, China saw it in their interest to tank the world market for solar, thus was also giving export rebates on solar components.

But, recently, the rebates and subsidies are being phased out. So, there will be a market correction most likely because the pricing is really unsustainable.

can this be used to power one of those LifePo4 battery unit that goes on sale? like the delta2?

Of course. I had my 3,000Wh battery unit charge itself up 10% yesterday from a single 100W panel. Today it was heavy clouds with no blue sky, and I got a whole 2% more charge.

1/3 the capacity of your battery, or better, is ideal IMO. A 1,000W solar grid would have given me 20%, or 600Wh, on this cloudy spring day. On a sunny day, 1,000W would charge up the 3,000Wh in around 4-hours. 2,000W could do the same, and also run a window/portable air conditioner during the day. Delta 2 will limit how much solar input it can take. My (non-ecoflow) battery system can only accept 1,500W max solar, so 2,000W wouldn't be helpful.

Yes this would work. Just keep in mind your charge off one panel would not charge a Delta 2 in one solar day. Would most likely take about 2 and a half days on average. It all depends on whether it's completely sunny or not, and if you're going out there changing the positioning of this panel as the sun shifts position. The Delta 2 has up to a 500 watt solar charge. I'd highly recommend looking for a deal on a couple 200w panels for that unit. Or maybe even 4 of these. I'd say absolute bare minimum of 2 of these panels. But that's up to you...
