You proobably missed that this is 2 55lb plates. So 110lbs for $71 is less than $1/lb

While is still a good deal, I have seen it a little better at Walmart. I have several of these Every Day bumper plates and I like them, their weight seems spot on and their "bumper" action is okay for what you are getting. They are not as bouncy as my Rogue set, but that is not really a bad thing.

Slightly more expensive set but I've found these to be of significantly higher quality (within this brand at least).

These are also slimmer 2.83 vs 3.66. That might not matter to a beginner but if you are loading up the bar for deadlifts or just trying to maximize your plate storage, the thinness really starts to add up. They are very similar to Cap Comps for significantly lower prices... I have a mix of both and they don't stick out like a sore thumb or feel out of place cosmetically.

Have these, love them, but they thicker than a snickers. Doesn't matter for my bench press, but I had to go elsewhere for deadlifts. If you're not needing above 400 lbs on a bar, don't worry about it.
