Would you rather use this or those portable rapid inflators that look like a portable charging brick?

This is way more reliable and powerful compared to those small battery inflators.

Had both - I gave away the powerbrick style. The milwaukee is much faster, built better, and removable batteries are a plus for me. But depends on your use case. If you're only doing some occasional bike tires or sports balls, the milwaukee is likely more than what you need.

Yea this will primarily be a car tire inflator and kept in the car for emergency uses.

Excellent air pump that I have been using at home and at the track for years. Tip: If the zero ever drifts, you can reset it by holding the power button on and pressing the + button 3 times.

Use this very frequently the last few years. Easy to quickly top off the car tires, bike tires, kids balls, etc. No brainer if you already have m12 batteries. There might be better options like the Ryobi or DeWalt if you're hoping to inflate, say, pool floaties, mattresses, etc.

I had this for past 8 years. Very powerful compared to cheap Chinese counterpart. My only problem is i dont like the milwaukee small battery because they go bad quick as you keep using this inflator regularly because one of my tires were bad for years till i replaced it. I ended up buying a Chinese inflator with a huge battery and i dont care if battery goes bad on those because milwaukee battery aint $10.
