From one of the reviews: "3 of the pieces are actually Search term:made in China: the kitchen sheers, honing steel, and serrated spreader all say Search term:made in China. The knife block itself does not state Search term:where it was manufactured so with part of the set being Search term:made in China, there is no way to know."

Stamped, not forged. And don't let the "16 piece" fool you, most of the knives are little tiny knives or steak knives.

Might as well just get cheap Chinese knives from Temu.

Wusthof is fantastic, but only when you buy the forged version.

This is NOT the set you want to get for your kitchen to last a lifetime. This is the set you buy to put in your rental property because nobody will want to steal them. All the elite German knife makers have a budget line, and this is Wusthof's.

For this much money, you'd do better to buy the forged versions of the 3 or 4 knives you actually need, instead of a cheap stamped set with a ton of useless stuff.
