At this point, I was freaking the **** out as I thought I was scammed. So I called the gift card support number, and the rep told me that the gift card can't be added to your online wallet -- it can only be used in-store or online on a manual-add basis. In other words, you have to manually enter the card number for each purchase online.
So I had something I wanted to buy online anyway, and manually added the gift card number at checkout. It worked, just as he said, and it showed the correct remaining balance on the final checkout page.

I paid $4 for wiper fluid and it made me sad.
Do you have any idea of the maximum value on the one allowed gift card?

None of the stores near me have the variable load cards - just the $75 multipacks.

It seems so odd to buy a digital gift card in the store.
