-The pump seems awful/slow. You'll want something different so you don't spend all your time and energy inflating. It's useful in that it has a built pressure gauge. I have a nice inflatable kayak and the pump for it is wildly better.

All of the manual pumps suck; that it isn't unique to this brand.

I have 2 of these from about 2.5 years ago. Still going strong. I use them about twice a month in the summer, so not too much use. I found getting an electric pump that plugs into your 12V outlet in the car really helps. Also do yourself a favor and get a decent aftermarket paddle. It makes a big difference if you do anything other than float downriver. I ended up making my own, because they are not cheap and I like doing that kind of thing.

How heavy or hard is it to deflate & bring back to car? I've been thinking about getting a paddleboard. I had a kayak for several years and loved it - used it all the time. But I hated putting it on top of my car. I was thinking of switching to a paddleboard because they're so popular and you can lay down on them, but I can't get on my knees and I don't have the core strength to stand up (yet.) I think I've seen people put camp chairs on their paddle boards before, and wondering if that's a legit option Can anybody comment on how to get around knee injuries when you have a paddleboard?

You spent a quarter of the cost of the product to warranty it? An $80 loss shouldn't trigger financial ruin.

Paddleboards suck in every way compared to any other watercraft, except you can lay down on them or deflate and easily transport it. They're slow, unstable, awkward...

If you plan to get into paddleboarding with an iSUP, I highly recommend getting an electric pump. It'll make pumping your board so much easier. The manual pumps require a good amount of effort.
With paddleboarding you have more mobility than a kayak. You can sit in several positions, kneel, and stand. Additionally you can put in a variety of chairs onto them for more comfort. I personally use a cooler thats strapped to my board that doubles as a chair.
Paddleboarding in general provides you with better line of sight as opposed to other watercraft. So you can see ocean life much better, which is practically impossible in a kayak. Dolphins, stingrays, manatees, conchs, etc.
You're also engaging many more core muscle groups and balance. Size and portability, along with price are also pros.

This is an extremely limited point of view. It all depends on what your intent and purposes are.
