The HD deal doesn't come with a charger (we all have a dozen chargers laying around anyway, right??!), but I think it's worth spending $20 more at HD for the XC5.0. Just grabbed that deal myself.

I got "M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 1.6 Gal. Wet/Dry Vacuum (Vacuum-Only)". Shows 045242568116 on my receipt, and searching HDs website brings it up. The website shows $149, but I paid $129. That's the one that qualifies for the free XC5.0 EDIT: Just realized this post is for the M18, not the M12 that I got. Oops -.-

Yeah this post is for the M18 though not the M12 Fuel. The M18 comes with a charger and XC 5.0 battery and the hose is 1 foot longer.

2 gallon? I have a 4 gallon and I'm surprised at how quickly it fills up wishing I had bought a larger one, I can't imagine something smaller.
