The good: 20g protein per bar is legitimately solid, and it's plant-based with no cholesterol.
The concerning:
  • 17g added sugars (34% DV) is the real problem. Despite the "low glycemic" marketing claim, that's a significant sugar hit — not ideal on semaglutide, which is already doing work to moderate blood sugar response
  • 290 calories is on the heavy side for a bar, especially if it's a snack rather than a meal replacement
  • 6g saturated fat (30% DV) is surprisingly high for a plant-based bar
  • Only 2g fiber, which is low and contributes to the fast glycemic hit
