Please read those articles rather than spewing nonsense. The original headline was intentionally misleading. It was someone who "claimed" to have heard about it from someone else, authoring for a small time website, and then "claimed" they heard from an anonymous source that it was a bug on Sonys side. It is not a big thing right now because it lacks actual confirmed sources AND because it really wasn't something Sony was beta testing.

I'm all for hating on big corporations, but people need to do the bare minimum of reading and researching rather than jumping on meaningless hate trains.

That's all bullshit. You need to set up your console as the primary console in your settings and you can play offline whenever with no 30 day cap.
