Nike used to regularly offer 20% or 25% off promotions for a wide range of shoes and apparel, not just specific items that aren't selling well.

I can always find some pretty good stuff at the Nike outlet store if you have one near you...it's already relatively cheap but one of the employees lets me use her discount so I always score there 🙂

Different strokes for different folks... I particularly like the color of the suede, and almond toe shape is my favorite.
Not gonna bite on these though; the last pair of similarly-priced Nikes I bought were a total wash. Material/build quality felt like they should've cost half as much as they did, and the soles were rock hard. Immediately became my lawn care shoes.
