Deal Details look incorrect - existing Boost customers can qualify too, per the FAQs on the linked page:
Both new and existing Boost Mobile customers can earn up to $300 in cash rewards from Chime, which is equivalent to a free year of service on the Unlimited Plan. See full terms and conditions here.
Sign up for Boost Mobile, if you're not already a customer.
Sign up for Chime and receive a $500+ recurring direct deposit.
AutoPay your Boost Mobile bill with your new Chime account.
Get a $25 cash reward into your Chime account every month for up to 12 months. That's up to $300 total—equaling the cost of one year's Boost Unlimited service.

[edited to add]
Though the chime page has conflicting info, suggesting that only new Boost users qualify:

"This Offer is for new eligible Boost customers who open a new Chime Checking Account"

it's only one year, I wish it's forever lol. I'm tired of the switching carrier game to save a little bit of money and risk losing the number (I know there is a small chance of losing it, but still it can happen)

Google voice number. I switch carriers often depending on the deals, but my Google voice number has remained forever.

has GV corrected the problems with the Over the Air SMS issues? I had used it in the past but got very frustrated that some company can't send me the SMS for second factor authentication. If not, it's a great use

GV fine print has some dumb restrictions. If you don't use your number you can lose your number

It's not really dumb, especially for a free service. If you're not using it, someone else can be. Either way, I just send a simple text and I don't get the notification for a long time, on my secondary GV number.

I know what you're talking about. Unless the company specifically says no to voip numbers, I get it for pretty much anything I use since a few years ago.

I've kept my Google Voice number since the Grand Central days and I've only used it for actual calling a few times. Once Google started yoinking numbers due to inactivity, I just added a reminder to my calendar once a month to send/receive a text to/from the account to keep the number active. They must not even be too strict about the time frame because I've been a couple weeks late more than once and didn't lose my number.

You don't even have to go that far, they automatically send you an email at least a month ahead of time. And they don't send anything again for months.

The catch here is the existing boost mobile users can benefit, but existing Chime account members cannot. That's a bummer

Several banks offer $300 or more in incentives for opening a new account with much shorter direct deposit requirements. I think it's way better and easier to go for such offers than having to be stuck with Chine and Boost for a year. And you can spend that on a much better plan of your choice.

So, do that sign up plus this one, plus another one, etc.
