I'm posting to alert others to hopefully spare them from what happened to me. I've been a loyal Tello customer for many years and always spoken highly of them online. Naturally, I've referred customers to them all these years. I've accumulated over $300 of referral credits. Most came from Reddit communities that I belong. Then, Tello deleted all of my Tello Dollars out of nowhere! When I contacted them, they claimed to have sent me a notice, but they did not. They refused to give them back to me and said it was against their policy to share a referral link with strangers, such as online. They said it had to be people I knew like friends and family.
So, if you have any Tello dollars in your account, use them ASAP! With the recent change they made to discontinue cheaper plans and now this, they may be doing everything they can to force customers to pay more. I hope this won't happen to others out there!
