Powerful and a bit heavy - Somewhat a decent deal - my deal also included a decent blower for 200 - a while back.

82v String Trimmer or give me death. More powerful than a gas string trimmer and much quieter. 20v is weak.

If you're 7 feet tall, yes. I just used mine the other day, works pretty damn well even on low. I think the length is just right and I'm slightly under 6 ft. The folding mechanism is in the way if you needed the grip lower which kind of sucks.

Unreliable for string trimmers. The rest of their tools have been great for me. I've seen lots of talk of dead ones online.

sorry but these trimmers are the worst, stay away! I would not buy it if it was $50. the motor being at the bottom is the problem and it will clog right away. spend the extra bucks to get the 60v universal model where the motor located on top handle.

I love DeWalt but you really want to stick with items that are within their wheelhouse. When they start branching out into areas that aren't their strength, the quality is what you expect, not that great.

I agree with the comments above. Buyer beware. I bought one similar if not the same (DeWalt 20V MAX DCST922B), worked fine until white smoke came out. Dewalt replaced and it burned out. Finally got my money back from Dewalt.
Every other Dewalt product I've owned has been awesome. Something when wrong with this one's design.
