This Amazon Basics 65W USB C GaN charger stands out for compact, lightweight travel charging and strong Samsung fast charging compatibility. It is slightly larger than the Anker Nano but lighter, and it has been confirmed to negotiate Samsung Supercharger 3.0 on a Galaxy S26 Ultra. Charging speed appears to depend on the cable, with a good USB C cable needed for full performance. PPS support is disputed in the comments, and there are warnings about random charging dropouts, so it looks best as a budget compact charger if those caveats are acceptable.

  • The charger can negotiate Samsung Supercharger 3.0 on a Galaxy S26 Ultra.

  • The charger can deliver constant full-power charging according to review claims.

  • The charger is slightly larger than an Anker Nano while weighing less overall.

  • A 100W-rated USB-C cable can enable proper charging performance with this charger.

  • PPS support is unclear because it is not found in the listing description or on the printed label/photo.

  • Some reports say the charger stops charging randomly, which can disrupt charging sessions.

  • PPS support is disputed, with claims that Samsung fast-charging modes may work via standard PD without PPS.

  • The included USB-C cable may only support Supercharge 1.0, limiting faster Samsung charging.

Amazon's AI says it has PPS, but I can't find it anywhere in the description or printed on the bottom in the photo.
Amazon's AI lies all the time. It has lied to me at least 3 times in the last 30 days, once about a feature that was visible on the product's page. When I called it out as a liar, it apologized and said "Oh, I can see that now".

Based on my ongoing experience, like every LLM, Amazon's AI is programmed to lie when it doesn't know the answer. Don't trust it.

But I'm sure things will get better once the U.S. military starts deploying the SkyNet AI it just licensed in autonomous weapons to kill people. I'll note Anthropic was kicked to the curb by the Pentagon when their CEO said "You can't use our tech to kill civilians."

What could possibly go wrong? I'm sure the AI will apologize for its mistake.

Thats the reason why AI is less than 1% successful in real-world production.

Slightly larger than the Anker Nano but also significantly lighter.
Anker Nano: 1.65 x 1.42 x 1.74 inch, 3.96oz
Amazon: 1.9 x 1.6 x 1.5 inch, 3.17oz

Yes. If it has PPS like some reviews imply you'll get fastest charging speeds on Pixel 10.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know for my wife's phone
It needs a good quality cable to get it though. I bought one rated to 100w and it worked fine. But the USB C cable that came with my phone can only do Supercharge 1.0. Samsung cheap as hell.

Do these crap out and cycle charge when they get hot? If it does that it's useless
No because that's not a thing.

Its 4.2 stars. And multiple reviewers mentioned it stops charging randomly.

Are there any tests of the charger documenting the supported charging functionality more completely? I worry that the claims of Programmable Power Supply (PPS) support are actually just users confirming compatibility with those Samsung Super Fast Charging modes which work with traditional Power Delivery modes (without PPS). Most notably, plenty of Samsung devices now no longer require either PPS or 5A e-marker cables to achieve SFC 2.0 and SFC 3.0 charging rates. The one review on Amazon referenced an attached picture that no longer appears to exist(?).
Even wiithout PPS support this charger is a nice bargain. Testing PPS support should be reasonably easy to document, but simply seeing a declaration of SFC is not proof of PPS.

Good luck!
Jon

No they still need PPS. What they don't require is 5A PPS profiles.
