For those being downvoted, don't be gaslit. I tested a unit last year, post scandal manufacture. Same Redline clone malware, same custom install of Chrome with browser hijackers, same custom Windows with exploits on the recovery partition. Even a nuked clean reinstall of Windows I would not trust. It is trivial to deploy exploits to firmware, and I would not put it past this company for a single second.
Same goes for Kamrui, which is yet another AceMagic sub-brand with the same malware. There's a reason these brands are being constantly posted here, and it's not consumers finding deals...

(Not saying this is what's happening here, but most/all FP deals on SD nowadays are posted by the actual sellers disguised as "random users").
One way is to use M.2 Gen 3 SSD, when the mobo can handle M.2 Gen 4 SSD. A m.2 gen 4 SSD is 100% FASTER then gen 3. So it will actually make a big difference in your daily performance.
Or format the drive that comes with this unit?
Will that be safe then?

Installing a clean version of Windows without a Microsoft account (a "local account") has become slightly more difficult in 2026, but it is still very doable using a simple bypass during the setup process.
Phase 1: Create Your Installation Media
Since you have a Ryzen-based mini PC, you want to ensure you are getting the official, un-bloated files directly from the source.
Go to the official Microsoft Windows 11 Download page on a clean computer.
Use the "Create Windows 11 Installation Media" tool to turn a USB flash drive (8GB or larger) into a bootable installer.
Phase 2: The Installation (The "Clean Sweep")
Plug the USB into your Firebat and boot from it (usually by tapping F7 or Delete during startup).
When asked for a product key, select "I don't have a product key" (it will usually auto-activate later via the hardware ID).
Crucial Step: When asked "Which type of installation do you want?", choose Custom: Install Windows only (advanced).
Delete every single partition on the Drive until you see nothing but "Unallocated Space." This ensures any hidden factory malware recovery partitions are gone.
Select that empty space and click "Next."
Phase 3: The "No-Microsoft-Account" Bypass
Once Windows restarts, it will walk you through the "Out of Box Experience" (OOBE). It will eventually try to force you to connect to the internet and sign in to a Microsoft account. Use this trick to skip it:
Stay Offline: Do not plug in an Ethernet cable or connect to Wi-Fi yet.
Open Command Prompt: On the screen where it asks you to connect to a network, press Shift + F10.
Type the Bypass Command: In the black box that appears, type the following exactly and hit Enter:
OOBE\BYPASSNRO
Reboot: The PC will automatically restart and return to the same setup screen.
The New Option: This time, when it asks you to connect to a network, you will see a new option: "I don't have internet." Click that.
Limited Setup: On the next screen, click "Continue with limited setup."
You can now enter a local username and password of your choice without ever linking a Microsoft account.
Final Step: Drivers
Once you are at the desktop, you will need drivers (especially for the Ryzen chipset). Since this is a mini PC, Windows Update usually handles 90% of them. For the remaining ones, it is safest to go directly to AMD's website for the chipset and graphics drivers rather than using the Firebat factory website, just to stay 100% clean. But you will need their website for other drives most likely.
Lastly, as far as I know, as far as the internet states... the viruses that every one talks about happened in 2024 and they have been selling CLEAN computers with ZERO bloatware for over a year right now.
Trying to buy 200 more right now. Love capitalism

But realize that... the way I suggest you install a NEW OS, you do not need to log onto Microsoft.
And really, it is not too hard.
The hardest part IMHO, is going to "device manager" after you install your new OS and trying to figure out which drivers are missing and which one's you need from the manufacturer (use AI for this). AND before I try to figure out which drivers you need, the first thing I would do is update Windows (there is a small chance it may find the drivers during this update cycle).
Having access to a second PC until you get this one working perfect will make your life much easier.
If you need any drivers from the manufacturer, my advice is to email them to yourself so you have a copies, just in case you install a new hard drive in the future. Also, I would install the latest bios, so if they have a newer one then you have I would install it.
I would do this for ANY mini pc, laptop, or desk top that I would buy. I think the reason why my i7 3rd gen machine works so good AT 14 YEARS OLD is because I installed a clean OS and got rid of all the bloatware (also installed 16GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD in the day). My 14 year old machine was barely able to play Boldergate 3 at the lowest settings, the machine has a 660m installed as a dedicated GPU.
It still gets updates from Microsoft until this October and then... my machine gets retired.

You may actually learn something.
A Mini PC with these specs is actually a very capable "sweet spot" for getting into local AI. Since the Ryzen 7 7735HS uses integrated Radeon 680M graphics, it can share that 24GB of RAM between the system and the GPU, which is exactly what local LLMs need.
There is a firebat deal with same specs BUT it comes with a 512 SSD and 16GB of RAM (two 8GB sticks that you can upgrade).
You sell those sticks for like $75 and you buy 32GB for about $200 on facebook marketplace. Such as this...
https://www.facebook.co
And realize, that the M.2 SSD you get will most likely be 3rd Gen... while these mobo's can handle 4th Gen which is 100% faster.
Search Firebat on SD.net. I think there is a coupon code to make the price even cheaper but I could be wrong....

So Apple has shipped products with Viruses on them. News reports idicate that chines microchips were sodered into the mobo of Apple computers.
Lenovo has previously shipped consumer laptops with pre-installed software classified as adware or spyware, most notably the Superfish incident in 2014-2015.
HP has shipped computers with pre-installed malicious or highly suspicious software on multiple occasions.
eDellRoot (2015): Dell pre-installed a self-signed root certificate called eDellRoot on many PCs. This allowed attackers to mimic legitimate websites (like Google or Bank of America) to steal user information without the browser showing a warning.
ShadowHammer (2019): Hackers compromised the ASUS Live Update Utility, using it to push malicious updates directly to thousands of users' computers. This essentially turned ASUS's own official shipping/update channel into a malware delivery system
THE LIST CAN GO ON and ON and ON....
But I will TELL you the difference between Acemagic and ALL THESE OTHERS... Acemagic appoligized, found out why and remedied it. ALL OTHERS KEPT THEIR MOUTHS SHUT.
Again, I think Acemagic is a better company then Apple, HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus, Anker, etc...
And there is NO MALWARE in any acemagic pc TODAY!!! It was a one time affair that happened back in 2024, AGAIN, a virus search using Windows caught that virus on day 1.
