I have this and while its a great machine that makes good espresso and coffee, it's insane to me that they don't include an automatic on timer or auto-brew function.

Agreed, this machine has been a workhorse for me and my family since the depths of Covid. But there are so many mornings that I wake up and wish it was already on and warmed up! But maybe that's my coffee addiction speaking...

May vary by brand, but I have been using a Saeco Xelsis (the Italian company Philips bought to copy all of their espresso technology) for about 10 years and have replaced a few parts and not a single one was more than $20.

This is assuming you are willing to learn to do the repair yourself - if you take them to a service center you are talking several hundred for labor, which basically isn't worth it on these lower end machine.

To all the people who wanted an automatic on timer - agree, although even the high end models don't have it. It really only takes 60 seconds to warm up so not a huge deal.

This is expensive, there are cheaper models for $350-400.
