I have a laegendary monster truck that's been fun to drive around. The batteries all turned into spicy pillows so I had to buy an expensive RC charger and better batteries, and the plastic bumpers broke and needed to be replaced. But for $100 it's a great way to get into what can frequently end up being an expensive hobby!

Looks like a decent rock crawler for this price. Doesn't have portal axles but those come with higher prices. The transmitter looks like a DumboRC transmitter/receiver. Despite that silly name, DumboRC transmitter/receiver are quite good. And this crawler looks like it has a working winch.

I have their Off-road Monster Truck (got from SD as well lol) and it's quite fun to run, due to its size and manageable max speed. The MJX brushless car from Ali turned out to be way too fast making it less entertaining, surprisingly. Anyway, my question - is this one comparable to those Trucks or is it super slow and can be used only to climb some artificial obstacles? Are parts also widely available on Ali?

You do know you can turn the speed down on the MJX transmitter right?
