Just FYI, I owe this tool and wouldn't purchase it again. Some of the tools in the Ryobi USB ecosystem are excellent value, but not this. If your using this for anything more then inflating a ball or small object (let alone a flat tire), you'll hate it.

Ehh I get that smaller battery works better for portable tools, but I dont want to introduce another type of batteries into my ecosystem. Good deal though!

I basically keep it on my bike...works well for that. I use their 18v system for my other inflation needs.

I have like 2 of the USB tools and several batteries (that most work as small power banks)... which ones WOULD you recommend or WOULD NOT recommend?

Depending on your needs, the rotary/"Dremel" is pretty decent. It's the main tool in that line I wanted but to be completely honest, for my needs (mostly 3d printing cleanup, small wood fixed) I could get away with the super cheap white label $10 rotary tools from Amazon. The Ryobi is definitely more powerful (not exactly a benefit with 3d print stuff though) and I'd assume would run longer if you had a big job.

The cutter roller thing, I guess used mostly for cardboard cutting, so far is more annoying than useful for me. Much slower than just using a safety knife/blade. But I guess much safer and I'd definitely prefer my kids use this than an open blade. But it seems to get jammed up easy depending on the edge you go against. And it just cuts kind of slow and makes holding the cardboard/box a bit awkward. Others seem to really like it but I'm not sold on it lol.

The glue "pen" gun is kind of nice as far as form factor...I can see it being useful for more detailed gluing needs but it's also a little bit awkward to hold and advance the glue, or I'm just doing it wrong lol. I'm thinking it will grow on me more.

The carver seems ok but I'm kind of stumped on how/where/when to use it. Besides literally pulling out a block of wood to carve a toy horse lol. I imagine it would be great for quick chisel type job needs or cleanup/small adjustments for finer wood working. But I'm not enough of a craftsman or woodworker yet to get a lot of use out of it.

The swivel flashlight is useful but just a flashlight.

I got this 4 tool set for $100 and I'm pretty comfortable at about $25 per tool value wise. I wouldn't pay $50+ for any of them, besides maybe the rotary if I had more legit uses.

Watch for listings for Home Depot clearances/deals... The main reason I ended up here is they had the flashlights on clearance for $11 and they came with batteries so I got 3 to have extra batteries for cheap. Then I would have waited for a deal/clearance for the rotary but ended up grabbing the bundle deal lol.

We are in the same boat and I agree with all your thoughts here. I too bought the value pack for $100 bucks that included those same items at the end of last year and feel very much the same.
I have 9 total Ryobi USB tools and these are the ones I find most value in:
The USB spray mop is good. Vibration feature is nice and so are the LED's. This replaced my old Bona mop for our hardwood floors and we own two of them. Battery lasts forever, the chemicals are decent for the price and the mop head has been durable (and it's washable).
The USB inspection light is also good. Don't let the 500lm scare you off, the color balance (for those CR folks) is perfect and this has been dropped many times. The magnet is good and the light feels quality. This is an obvious Milwaukee tool in Ryobi clothes. I bought two and use them for many things around the house and automotive.
The USB clamp fan is great. Long run times with the 3ah battery and also very durable. Used at the beach recently and was impressed with the run time small footprint for the CFM provided.
Last up is the USB tray w/light. I thought this was a gimmick tool, but I've come to really like it for small project work. I used it a few weeks ago while restoring an 80's Honda generator and now Its on my workbench forever. I do wish there was a plug in / wall outlet option. Having a mag tray with a flexible light might not seem like much, but for small parts work, this is great. Bonus because the light is adjustable for flood or spot. I feel like the battery lasts forever in this tool, so I don't doubt Ryobi's claim of 28+ hours.
Quick final thoughts...skip the glue "pen" and get the glue "gun". Skip the most of the inflators in the entire USB range unless your just inflating small items, the CFM just isn't there for anything in the lineup and having to hold the button down for 10 minutes to inflate your vehicle's tire 10psi isn't appealing to most people. Most HD's in my area are selling the 3ah battery's on clearance right now. They are worth the money for the fan, rotary tool and inspection lights.
These tools don't seem to be going away anytime soon and Ryobi is releasing more this year. HD is always having sales on them, so keep a look out.

I can tell you the one listed is doo-doo. It's good for a bike tire or something like that, but that's about it. It's also clumsy to use due to the form factor.

THIS model however is amazing and lives in my trunk all year 'round: https://www.homedepot.com/pep/RYO.../326666980

You leave it with a battery in your trunk year round? I'm leery of lithium batteries in the car during extreme temp swings (winter/summer)

Yep. Never had an issue. Those One+ batteries are pretty damned robust. It'll fill up a tire from 20lbs to 35lbs in about 45 seconds or so. You can lay it flat on the ground, set your pressure, and it'll turn off automatically when it hits the target. It even has a light on it that points at the tire if you're doing this at night.
