Geez…people want the sun stars and the moon with their laptops. Delusional!
Bought mine a year ago. Battery life is insanely good. Screen is gorgeous! Haven't had a single driver issue. Very happy with mine!

Love mine to death. Battery life and performance is a dream. Keyboard is great, monitor is gorgeous, bit of a fingerprint magnet but not horrendous.
But as others have mentioned compatibility is still growing. Many companies have since released native versions of apps, while others just won't work. (VMware for instance) Many developer tolls are slow still not running smoothly, if they can at all. Most nearly every major consumer app either works thru translation or has a native version now. We're at least a few more years out to be parity with x86, but if you're not a developer, chances are you may never run across any issues.

Its absolutely misleading comment. What you are saying is just wrong. Windows on ARM is perfectly fine for 99.99999% users. You are just parroting the same old nonsense.

Just read what IT professionals say about current Windows on ARM devices.

x86 is just dead for laptops. and its for good reason.
Your link goes to the SNAPDRAGON Reddit, which is run by Qualcomm employees if you look at the mods... Definitely not biased /s
Also you saying x86 is dead is completely wrong, as you clearly have no idea how ISA's work. x86 compared to ARM has a very very small penalty. The SOLE reason why Qualcomm, Apple, etc dont use x86 was because they dont have a license to, and they cannot buy one either, leaving them to use ARM or RISC-V.
For actual work and gaming, Intel's Panther Lake is better for compatibility, reliability and performance compared to this specific chip. Some people cant even use their PRINTERS because their is no driver for ARM... Let alone play most games without issues, among other problems.

A lot of IT professionals on that forum board dedicated to Snapdragon are saying this is a good product.

Also, comparing completely different devices.

i had purchased 4 devices (whole family) over the past 2 years. All in all, I was very impressed. Until we started working on Claude Cowork. (Not supported on ARM) Also, when you open the lid, it takes about 30 sec before it is fully connected online and you can browse. This is annoying. Other than that, it is an awesome machine. Last month, we switched everyone over to an m5 macbook air and we couldn't be happier. I'm selling all 4 of these on eBay now because I got a great deal on the Macbooks for $949. The neo is also worth considering for someone looking for a new laptop. The switch to MacOS has been smooth, seemless, and actually kind of fun. All apps are available on MacOS not like in the past. When you press print, it prints instantly, when you press anything it just happens instantly. No ads, copilot, junk, mcafee, or any of that.
Claude Cowork is absolutely supported on ARM64

Windows on ARM! 🤮🤮🤮 That's a lot of compatibility headache. Even X86 won't run as it should every now and again. Now that Panther Lake is competitive, there is no reason to switch. Maybe 10 years from now. Maybe. The only way manufacturers can sell Windows on ARM is when they sell at massive discounts (at a loss). People are willing to pay 2x for X86.

I'm typing this on an arm windows laptop right now (vivobook x1plus) it's absolutely fine, and I'm a power user, I teach 3d art with this laptop 99.9% of software runs perfectly, also use it for games, and works great with gamepass as of a year ago now (they used to only allow streaming now you can install anything)

battery is great, and they tend to come paired with incredible screens (120 hz oled on a laptop this cheap is a dream)
