57 cents per pound is a very good deal, assuming these don't have the bad off-gassing smell issue that some people complain about. I bought a set of this same brand EVERYDAY ESSENTIALS 10lb & 15lb plates around October and a set of 25lb and 35lb plates around December and both sets are great with no bad smell that some people complain about. I just had to wash a thin coating of oil off them with a garden hose and Dawn soap which was probably some mold-release oil remaining from the manufacturing process.

Good price/lb but 35s are the most awkward and least used in my experience. Especially if you're not adding weight to an existing set...why would you go 35s instead of 45/25/10+10+5 or equivalent in some lower increment combination? Just my opinion.

That said, BalanceFrom/EverydayEssentials is/are legit and the best bang for your buck on new bumpers. Prices and availability has probably changed with the world, but I got multiple 260lb sets for $160/ea a while back. Good starting point.

The white paint on the lettering is falling off mine, but the actual weights are holding up.
