Not really, you are better off paying a little more a series 2 if you do decide to buy one first thing to do is check battery health it's an old watch at this point battery wise and if you need to get a new battery, it's $99 from Apple

I would wait for Ultra 2 as that has an A15 cpu, same as Ultra 3 and 9-11. Watches only change CPUs every 3 generations. Notable difference is on chip Siri (even though she is pretty bad nowdays).

I think Ultra 2 is a notable upgrade to Ultra 1 and worth if can find around $100-150 more (I paid $450 for mine and that was 2 years ago). Ultra 3 however is not worth any kind of significant premium

Beware, Amazon renewed does not check for "find my" locks. Even if the watch is reset for new owner, the past owner can track location with "find my" unless they turn it off.
I have had this happen to me twice. Returned both times.
