Certainly not as powerful as a greenworks or a gas trimmer. But totally usable for my needs. Not going to be for everyone. The auto feed everytime you pull the trigger gets annoying, but is just part of using it for me. I dont always want to waste line when i pull the trigger, but keeping it going kills the battery faster. So i just choose longer battery and dont let myself worry about the wasted line..
I highly suggest buying offical worx prerolls of line to cut with. The off-brand prerolls tend to get stuck and melted a bit. Causing major annoyance.
I am sure you could roll your own with a good trimmer line, and I have done it. But you need to be precise and i find it easier to just buy the pre-roll refills. Pay attention to the ones that come with it, as there are many knockoffs that pretend to be legit ones. Even on Amazon.
I like that it adjusts to edge your yard with and like even more that it can be stored in tight places by shortening it to around 4ft long.
