For anyone who picks this up, check out "Synapse." Not the longest game ever and it is, admittedly, a little repeat-ey, but the combat is *extremely* fun.

As far as telekinesis-translated-into-a-videogame goes, I haven't found anything more satisfying than "Synapse."

Good quality set, even if you don't own a PS5, just get the PC adaptor

I'm considering getting one of these to use on PC since the price of $200 now has my attention. Not sure how good of an idea that might be though...

Works great on PC. I had a RTX 3070 (now 5070ti) and the quality is clearer and sharper than PS5. Only annoying things are you need a specific $15 USB bluetooth adapter for the controllers and also the stock headset is not comfortable IMO. There is a $50 Globcluster head strap that makes everything feel great. You can use it without those things but they make quality of life way better.

There is a PC adapter now but it didn't work well on my laptop. It worked the first time I booted it up then had issues after and I spent an hour troubleshooting and just quit.

You can use it with PC you just need an adapter.
I just bought one but i have to drive 1 hour each way to go pick it up.
Not sure if this will be worth it i have 98 inch 4k tv connected to my ps5 , it will be hard to beat that experience.
I figure worst case scenario i play it for few months then sell on ebay for $100-$150 not a big deal.

is this thing just a screen or are there onboard CPU/GPU also? so does it need a main CPU/GPU to process and transmit visuals?

It needs a device sending video to the headset, if that's what you're asking. Ps5 or PC with the adapter. There is no way to play games with just the headset.
