This is a neat light at a good price. The green laser can be used as a sky pointer at night. (The beam is dim, but visible).

A great light and an excellent price. Of the 3 HD01 variants, this is the one you want, it has all the things, no choosing between UV and laser. I have a bunch of HD01s and this is perhaps our most used light (out of 60 or so, some much more expensive than this - but this hits the sweet spot of price/performance/weight/interface), and this is the one my wife likes for dog walking. I would not let my wife go out with a crappy light.

It is very nice to have options. The orange and the green are very nice finishes.

Talk about knocking off OLIGHT on the Arclight Pro body. Though cool it has that side bar light.

On the other hand I love that design and curious if anyone already owns this. Let's hear your feedback.

I have an orange one, carry it in a bag every day. Not sure what aspect you care about most, but I'll give a general overview.

It's not as flat as you might think, but it does sit comfortably clipped along the side of a pocket so you can slip your hand or other things alongside it. It's bulky enough that I wouldn't clip it to a baseball cap (I guess it would be fine on a helmet), but I've clipped it to backpack straps in the night to make myself my visible. There's a magnet in the tail strong enough to hold the flashlight, and the front/side lights help make sure you can get light where you need it (both can be activated at the same time). I've dropped mine on concrete and got some deep-ish scratches in one corner of the aluminum: it definitely looks like the orange is anodized rather than paint, so the color is intact & it still looks good.

In use, it's fast to get to the laser pointer, last used main light brightness, moonlight mode, and the last-used side light color/brightness. I'm pleased with the neutral main light: no washed out blue tint or fake yellow tint, it's easy to distinguish things in the beam by their color spectrum. The battery doesn't last as long as the Olight, but I've gone for over a month since my last charge, no issue. You can use the UV light for checking cash, but honestly I use it more often for charging up glow in the dark items (really strong glow, fast! I had some GitD rocks lining my driveway stairs, and a GitD strap on my daily carry sling) or to darken my transitions glasses. The laser pointer is brighter than a red laser cat toy, easy to see in an office, but it's not as bright as a dedicated one I have which scares away my cat. The Side light has cool/warm white lite or full RGB... it's kinda neat for photography, and the white is good for bathing an engine or machine compartment for someone else to see with less shadows, red can protect your night vision or be a good safety light, but honestly I could do without the green or blue LEDs to simplify the different modes.

I can't use this as an emergency power bank for my phone, but the Wurkkos does light up like my phone can give the flashlight some power.

I've loved having a small RovyVon flashlight on my keychain for years and years (decade?!), I've had an Olight Baton and Mini Maglight in the past but this Wurkkos HD01 is the first "pocket" one that I really EDC. I use the RovyVon all the time for convenience, but I reach for the Wurkkos when walking at night or for utility.

I just received my second of these that won't turn on. When I press what the instructions refer to as the front button, the LED just flashes twice. I'd appreciate any hints to get it to work, thanks.

Is a feature. The instruction manual explains that and many other features that you won't find out about unless you at least read it once.

Hit either button 4x to enter/exit locked mode. Once you do it it takes you into whatever a single press on that button would have been. You really need to read the manual it's got a LOT of button press combos to do different stuff. It's not that bad once you know it and I love it but it's a bit much at first.
