I know Razer gets a lot of hate (some fair), but this one was one of their better releases. If you don't care about having the latest model, this seems like a decent pickup at this price.

Got it for the same price in November 2023. It's a great mouse, has held up really well as has the battery life.

Had this for a while and it's actually a really solid mouse for the price. Super light and the sensor is still great even compared to newer stuff. The dock can be a little finicky but you can always just plug it in directly and it's fine.

Great mouse and shape. A little heavy compared to new offerings, but this is a mouse that was released years ago. The side grips are prone to wear, but that doesn't happen immediately. It's a great mouse and I use it as a part of my rotation.

Not a good price unless you really want a white mouse or the dock. The Viper V3 Pro SE is essentially the 3rd revision of this (same as V3 Pro non-SE but with 1Khz dongle) and comes with many improvements: newer sensor, lighter weight, matte grippy coating compared to rubber sides, more tactile optical switches, a claw-focused shape (this is more for fingertip because it has less hump), and 25 hours more battery life.

Not sure why anyone would get this now when the V3Pro SE was on sale for the same price unless you really like the low shape, it's only $10 more right now new on Amazon. I have the SE and the coating is different from any of my previous mice, GPX1/2, Pulsar X2V2, G303/305, Steelseries Prime, etc. None of them have this amazing coating/shape for my hands, like seriously it's surprising how slippery they all feel compared to it, but only time will tell how long it holds up.

To me it puts the Chinese mouse market on notice, this is the same price as some mid-tier offerings but comes with a real warranty, solid sensor implementation and very good build quality...

Attack Shark has the X11 that seems like a dupe of this and spec wise isn't that far off on the sensor

The sensor is quite a bit off. The 3311 it uses is like the old 3335 sensor which while decent is not the same tier as the wired 3389, or Wireless 3395, 3950, and now 3955(which this mouse uses). It also uses mech switches which provide a good click feel (depends on implementation) but are liable to double click unlike opticals. It has 30 hours less battery, and worse feet, but the dock and Bluetooth functionality is great. Attack Shark mice have worse build quality, and if you get a cheaper one (like the R1 I got) you don't get any coating. If you aren't super competitive im sure its an OK clone but why not just pick up the real thing for $35 more? I would have agreed back when the V3 Pro was $160 but $80 for the SE (or $70 like it was for a few months) makes it a no brainer if you plan on holding onto it for a while. Synapse isnt great and somehow still better than AS software.

This IS a Chinese mouse. Razer is not quality.

That might have been true maybe 5 years ago with the Basilisk but its not true now. Just because they are all made in the same factory ignores the differences that some of the bigger brands put into stuff that isnt immediately noticeable on a spec sheet, like a grippy coating, tactile scroll wheel, and click implementation. The Razer mice of today dont have flexing, creaking, or rubber that wears down like like the past. Even if it does you have a 2 year warranty unlike with Chinese mice...
