Maybe I'm just old, but even at 100$ this seems over priced. If you're strong enough to carry 4-gallons of water on your back, then pumping the side arm (pressurizing the tank) should not be an issue. 20$ backpack sprayer from harbor freight has been working for years for me.

battery pack sprayers allow me to spray the permitter of my house in less than 10 minutes. Gets annoying having to use a manual pump.

Can confirm it leaks, the house on mine cracked near the tank. I like these over the pump because I can use blower and get up in the trees to knock down the mosquitoes. The sprayer itself works well. I would recommend wrapping the hose with electrical tape when you get it, might make it last longer.

Can confirm also. The hose is trash and leaks. This is after owning for less than a year.

Neuropathy from chemo has made my hands and arms weaker, but has not had as much of an impact on my legs. It's a lot easier to carry 4 gallons on my back with leg support than it is to constantly hand pressurize the tank. My anecdotal use case for consideration.

I wanted to buy an electric pump after my pump stopped pumping and the sprayer stopped spraying. I instead bought an electric wand and just put the tube where the old wand went

I can't get past the reviews on this thing. Just terrible. You can get an Allstate plan for $20 but then the time to return…might just get the Ego for double the price.
