Renovated my house 2 years ago and put in all Kohler fixtures (Purist - Matte Black) Think like $600-700 kitchen sink and $1K bathroom sinks including valves.

Expected these to last a lifetime, or close. However almost all of them have finish coming off somewhere. Kohler of course claims this is cosmetic and not covered under warranty. No particularly harsh cleansers were used.

At $200 though on par with cheaper brands so I guess no hesitation, just letting people know these aren't buy it for life anymore.
