Sodium carbonate is washing soda, not baking soda. And the linear alcohol ethoxylate is a surfactant. Those two together do most of the actual cleaning. Sodium chloride might be there for chelating (water softening) and sodium metasilicate might be there to also soften but then also function as anti-caking

Good price. I get this every time it goes on sale at Costco. I've been using this for years instead of regular liquid laundry detergent. A little goes a long way. Cleans my clothes very well and removes any odors. There is no residue left in my washing machine however I don't use any fabric softener in the washer.

I use this and love it. I use less than a tablespoon for a big load, usually half tbsp for regular load. Complement with a cup of white vinegar for great washes.

Super budget friendly, not shipping water, and exactly what your clothes need.

Then if you want smell, put a few drops of essential oil of choice in a dryer ball.

Is this detergent or just a booster. I notice they don't use the word detergent

Whoa, great product and great deal. I paid fifty-five dollars for a four hundred load version from Costco and now there's no way to return it because I've started using it.

So this is basically baking soda and salt?

This is great for sensitive skin, I've been using it for years.
My preference is fragrance free and this is fragrance free.
It doesn't leave residue in my washing machine.

Can anyone comment on how good it is compared to others?

Does it clean better than the liquid detergents available in-store, without being harsh on the clothes and skin?

13lbs of baking soda is less than $10. It does the same as additives to laundry detergent.

been using this since 2019. do not miss the tides and downeys. better than pods for sure. no strong odors. good cleaning power with small quantities. some fragrance on clothes might linger a bit but in general does a good job. for tough stains i make a bit of a paste or supplement with damn but thats like once a year. the smaller bucket i had lasted 4-5 years. also have their bleach which is sold by tubs and great for laundry.
it has never really fallen short in all the time ive used it but i also do not have dirty garage rags etc so cannot speak to extreme grease cases.

Also check ewg for details.
