I see battery type is listed as Lithium or Lead Acid. It's unfortunate there's no support for LifePO4 but that may be what drives the price.

The manual lists LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) battery setting.
L14/L15/L16 LFP battery L14/L15/L16, corresponding to 14, 15, and 16 series.
Compatible with Lithium Ferrous Phosphate batteries with 14, 15, or 16 cells in series.
