I returned the extra battery and I have not needed a second (even with mowing the yard, swapping to my weed wacker, and blower).
Okay enough deal for $450, after returning the extra battery. A gas mower is vastly superior, I keep my grass decently high (setting 6 on this) and it's extremely thick, this mower jams up 3-4 times a mow versus my old gas Johndeere.
