Apple is discontinuing their base model Mac mini that was priced at $599.

The cheapest Mac mini now sold by them is the $799 16GB RAM/512GB SSD.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Seriously, why does this need a PSA? It's all over 9to5 mac and AppleInsider. Why does this belong on a hot deals web site.

Perhaps some individuals are eagerly anticipating the announcement of the next base model Mac mini deal. This notification will at least provide them with a heads up that securing a deal on one might become slightly more challenging in the near future.
